BABIS 2008 Topics:
January meeting on Jan 5
January 5, 2008- Please join BABIS as we celebrate the start of our 7th year!
We will review the past year's events as well as plan for 2008 topics and recreational outings, financed by proceeds from the 5th annual Heads Held High brain injury awareness walk in Oct. 2007. We will have goodies to eat and fun and games to launch the year!
February meeting on Feb. 2
February 2, 2008: Dr. Eric Leskowitz, psychiatrist, SRH, will be the speaker
for "Using Mindfulness to Cope with Brain Injury" an opportunity to learn and
practice this healing approach.
Dr. Leskowitz will discuss
mindfulness and lead the group in some exercises to harness this energy.
* A separate family/ caregiver meeting will take place at the same time as our BABIS sessions.
